Tanzania Travel 2010 Kilimanjaro climb expedition 2010 In HD Lemosho Route Day 6 Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp 4600m Today is the day, we climb up to last base camp Barafu Camp at 4600m and enjoy some hours rest and sleep before we wake up at 23:00 to head for the final Goal Uhur Peak. During the Afternoon we are hit by heavy snowfall which leaves the camp and the route covered in white snow, with a magnificant evening view from the camp. Kilimanjaro Climb – Day 3 – August 4, 2010 – Shira 1 Camp

On the morning of our third day of hiking, we finally got to see Kilimanjaro for the first time since arriving in Tanzania. It was a cold morning and we had frost on the ground. Today, we will hike 8 miles (14 km) from Shira 1 to Moir Hut, stopping at Shira 2 for lunch. We will go from 11500 feet to 13800 feet today, making a good gain in altitude. Thanks to the clear weather, not only did we get to see Kilimanjaro, but we also had incredible views of the night sky.
