Climbing Kilimanjaro – Part 6 – Uhuru Peak
Check out the full trip report at grundlefly.com ... The finale to our 7 day climb of this African giant. We depart at 1am from the last camp and make our way up to the summit in the dark. It was questionable whether we would all make the summit, but the slow pace and determination ensured that we all celebrated at the end!

Thnx for this serie of nice videos. I did the same route in 2002 and it’s great to see it all back this way! And also I have a lot of respect of your discipline to shoot so much video footage while climbing. Excellent! Grtz, Boris

Hey, thanks for the kind words.
Indeed, it is a challenge trying to get photos and videos on these tough hikes, but we try our best and it keeps us fit
We find it a nice way to remember trips for ourselves by capturing the footage this way and to share and hopefully inspire the world.
